The City of Cortez has convened a group of elected officials, citizens, and staff to promote the long term, sustainable development and wise use of water through conserving water, protecting water quality and the watershed and assuring regulatory and environmental compliance.

Mission Statement: Our mission is the conservation of water through advocacy, education, demonstration, and collaboration with citizens in the Montezuma Valley. Water is our future!
